A good number of impressive smart phones made its way through to the public during the recently concluded CES2011. Mobile phone companies at the show made themselves clear about the future of technology and where they are headed to next. LG, Motorola and Samsung were among the companies that introduced great new products to the smart phone line. To beat the competition almost all products have some peculiar feature in it like in the case of Motorola Atrix which comes with a web top dock and LG revolution which can work as a 4G hub for up to 8 devices. Let's take a closer look on what these smart phones offer to its customers.

Motorola ATRIX 4G
If there is a category called Super Phone then this smart phone from Motorola belong there. Going by the features and its unique ability turn the smart phone into a desk top computer or laptop, we are pretty sure that this device can win many hearts. The phone will connect to the Verizon LTE Network runs Android 2.2 froyo OS; not the latest android but has many extra features added to the basic version. The screen of ATRIX 4G is capacitive touch screen of 4- inch dimension. Processor that powers the device is a 1 GHz dual core tegra 2 processor and is the first dual core processor on any phones. Dual core processors increases the phone speed and reduces the battery drain. Other great feature of this phone is its 1GB RAM which, Motorola official claims to be most uncommon and 4 times higher than most smart phones. The screen of the phone is also unique which is a QHD where HD stands for High Definition which offer 20% more viewing area than other 3.5 inch screens and 35 % more pixels than the AMOLED screens now being used on most smart phones. There is a VGA Camera in the front for video chat and conferencing and a high definition camera in the rear of the phone. So you can shoot and at the same time watch the clips on a high definition camera. There is a finger print sensor on the back of the phone which doubles up as a secure on/ off switch and also lets the device back into action from the sleep mode with just a swipe of the finger over the sensor -- a welcome refrain from the painful password entering exercise. On board memory is 16GB but can be expanded by putting in another 32 GB card which means a memory of up to 48 GB.
Another amazing feature of the device is its web top application which is new on a Motorola device. This application enables the smartphone to be converted into a desktop computer or a laptop using a laptop dock. A laptop dock is a device which is similar to a laptop in its appearance and has a screen, keyboard, battery and mouse. There won't be any memory or an operating system in this laptop dock but there are two ports behind the dock device where you can plugin your external hard disks and access and save files. The phone can be plugged-in to the back of this laptop dock and then the device boots within 5 seconds and operates exactly like a laptop using the power and memory from ATRIX 4G. On the left hand site you can see your phone interface just like on your phone You can browse through the applications exactly like you do on the phone with the help of the keyboard and mouse on the laptop dock and also view the phone interface full screen. And on the right hand side you can see a full fledged firefox browser -- this is not the firefox mobile version. You can browse through the websites just like you do on your laptops or desktops and watch videos on a high definition screen. No wonder why Motorola claims ATRIX 4G to be the most powerful smart phone ever and that too obviously for more than one reason.
