Product Page For Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Is Up

After announcing last month, there was no news about the upcoming tablet from Lenovo. But now the ThinkPad tablet is getting closer to its launch, as the product page for the device goes live over the company's website, revealing its full specification details along with an expected launching date of August 23. The 10.1-inch ThinkPad tablet is coming with a dual core 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor power and got a 1 GB of memory along with 16/32/64 GB SSD storage. The multi-touch display with digitizer input features a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and 16:10 IPS panel with Corning Gorilla Glass.Connectivity includes WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, micro-USB, USB 2.0, mini-HDMI,etc. Other specifications includes 5MP rear and 2MP front cameras, gyroscope, accelerometer, 3-in-1 media card reader, assisted GPS,SIM card slot etc. The ThinkPad tablet is running on Android 3.1 OS and is coming with an eight hours of battery standby. Sprint Motorola Pax Android QWERTY, A Dual-Core Version Of the XPRT?

It seems like the Motorola is adding one more device to its list of ten devices, which they are planning to launch via Sprint this year. They already launched four devices including XPRT, Titanium, Triumph, and Photon 4G. Motorola Pax (the name is not confirmed officially), an Android QWERTY with dual core processor power, is the fifth one in the list. This QWERTY device was spotted recently, but no details were available about the device at that time. According to the source This Is My Next, the device is coming and it will support Sprint’s new CDMA 1X Advanced push-to-talk network and with the power of dual core processor. From the available details it seems like the device has the same form factor of Motorola XPRT, and most probably it will be an upgraded version of XPRT, and got the dual core power than the single core in XPRT, also it may be coming with Android Gingerbread and not with Froyo as in XPRT. Second Generation ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Coming In October

With its affordable price tag, great build and nice features, ASUS's Eee Pad Transformers made their own space in the market, and the company is shipping around 400,000 units per month. Now they are planning a second generation of the device, and according to Digitimes this will happen this year itself. Probably by October ASUS will launch their Eee Pad Transformer 2. The second generation Eee Pad Transformer is expected to be coming with NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor power and boosted up with “impressive” specification. Both Wintek and HannStar Display are preparing touch screen panels for the device. The former is planning to begin small-volume shipments in the middle of the third quarter and shipments in large volumes at the end of the quarter. Stay tuned for more details.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 Hitting T-Mobile USA On August 31

Availability of upcoming smart phone from RIM, BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 was not known in U.S until now. But now we came to know that the device is set to release in U.K this month itself, by Vodafone and O2. And the latest news suggest that the device is not only hitting in U.K, but it is coming to U.S also and its time to cheer up for the T-Mobile users as it is headed to T-Mobile now. Officially announced by RIM back in May, the device features 2.8 inch VGA touchscreen display and runs on BlackBerry OS 7. This will be the first 4G (HSPA+) BlackBerry smart phone from T-Mobile. The price details are not yet confirmed officially, but according to the leaked details this will be coming with a $50 mail-in rebate. Let's wait up to August 31 for more details.
