Lenovo launched ThinkPad X130e laptop, designed particularly for students those who are little bit careless about their devices. The device sports a ruggedized design with rubber bumper on the top cover, reinforced and recessed ports, stronger bezel, corner hinges etc. All these special features let the device withstand occasional fall and careless usage by school students.

The company offers two processor options -- Intel Core i3-2367M processor and AMD E-300 or AMD E-450 processor. Both these devices sports 3 cell, 31.2 Whr or 6 cell, 62.4 Whr battery. Memory options includes 8GB of RAM, a 320GB or 500GB hard drive. Other features includes HDMI, VGA, 3 x USB 2.0, flash card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, etc.
They also features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, VGA webcam with low light sensitivity and an optional mobile broadband.
