Nokia was set to announce their latest Windows Phone 8 device, Nokia Lumia 822 in next month for Verizon. But both the manufacturers and carrier announced the device a bit earlier. Verizon bounded Nokia Lumia 822 is now announced officially to work on the Verizon’s 4G LTE network. The device will offer the users an enhanced smartphone experience with free unlimited music streaming, better camera, and also provides maps with turn-by-turn navigation.


The smartphone has a 4.3-inch display and sports a unique design. The display offers 480 x 800 resolution. 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset is used to power the system. The device soprts a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage under the hood. You can also extent the storage with the help of a microSD card support. There will be an 8-megapixel camera from Carl Zeiss and a 1.2-megapixel HD front-facing camera.
The device will also offer Nokia Drive+, Nokia City Lens, Nokia Music etc. There will be a separately sold shell design that is capable of wireless charging.
The carriers are not offering any specific details on the availability of the device, nor the price details. It seems like that the device will be coming in November itself for a price tag around $100, on contract.
