But the company is busy in readying an Android smartphone that also a dual SIM one. W832 Xenium, is the newly announced dual SIM Android smartphone from the company with some descent features. Philips offers an easy swap between the SIM cards, and also offers 3G support in one of the SIM cards. Sounds good right?

Now when it comes to the hardware side, the device offers a 4.5” qHD display and uses 1GHz dual-core MTK chipset as the powerhouse. It is also blessed with 4GB of internal memory, an 8MP camera, Bluetooth, WiFi and it will also support microSD card to expand the memory further. The device is supposed to run on Android 4.0 ICS.
Philips offers pretty good battery options for the device, the 2400mAh battery offers a 683 hours of stand-by, with both SIM cards active, and a 11 hours of talk-time while it shrinks to 9 hours when you are browsing on the web.
There is no info on pricing and availability of the device, even though we may hope that it won't break our pocket to get a descent smartphone experience.
