Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) officially announced

Motorola has officially unveiled the second generation Moto G. The second generation Moto G comes with few changes and slightly lower price than the earlier version. The price of the phone in United states without contract is $179. In India, where the phone is launched, the price of 16 GB version is Rs. 12,999. The Moto G 2nd generation now comes with 5 inch 720p HD display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core CPU along with Adreno 305 GPU. Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM 8228 chipset powers the new Moto G. There is 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable internal storage.  The rear camera comes with 8 MP sensor, while the front camera comes with a 2MP sensor. There are two front facing speakers in this device for better audio. The phone runs Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS that can be upgraded to Android L (Lemon Merinque Pie) when it becomes available.

Huawei HiSilicon Octa Core mobile SoC ready, say Richard Yu

2014 is marking an year of Octa Core mobile chips. The previous year ended with announcement and launch of many mobile devices most of them featuring the true octa core SoC from MediaTek. Huawei, though a little late, have announced that their HiSilicon Octa Core chipset is ready for the show. Huawei currently have many of their devices running on their HiSilicon Chipsets. The Octa core chipset is likely to feature the (Samsung Exynos 5 type Architecture) quad Cortex A-15 plus quad Cortex-A7 big.LITTLE combo. There are two new 28nm HPM chips that are launched along with a quad core Cortex A9 model that succeeds 40nm K3V2 Chip. The Octa core and quad core chipsets comes with multi LTE band modem that will be compatible on WCDMA and China Mobile's TD- SCDMA. Tomorrow marks an important day for Apple as Iphone 5S goes on Sale from China Mobile

Apple is reported to have received thousands of pre-orders for the iPhone 5S even days before it officially goes on sale from China Mobile on Friday, January 17, 2014. To manage the rush China mobile is reported to have stocked 1.4 million iPhone 5S handset ready for disposal. According to reports on Wall Street journal Foxconn have shipped this much iPhone 5S handsets to the largest mobile carrier in China. The contract with China Mobile is important to Apple because this carrier is the world's largest in terms of subscriber base. China Mobile subscriber base now stands at 750 million. Other smaller operators like China Unicom and China Telecom are already selling iPhone 5S in China since they launched last year. Samsung Note Pro 12.2 and Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 tablets confirmed

In recent times there were several rumors about Samsung launching some big sized pro tablets in the market. Samsung somehow managed to keep the specifications under the wraps up to a day before the supposed launch at CES 2014. Now these tablets can be termed confirmed as we have spotted Verge publishing a hoarding at CES showing the Samsung Note Pro 12.2. Few minutes ago evleaks also came up with the specifications of the four tablets - Samsung Note Pro 12.2 with S-Pen, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. Later on they also posted a press rendering images of Galaxy Pro 8.4 tablet. All the above mentioned tablets, except Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 comes with 4G LTE Version as well as the 3G/WiFi versions. Acer Iconia A1-830 and Iconia B1-720 tablets announced for $130 and up

It is usual for Acer to refresh its tablet line up during the CES every year, and this time time too the company have made no exception. They have announced two new tablets called Iconia A1-830 and Iconia B1-720. Both the tablets will be showcased in the upcoming CES 2014. The tablets are priced cheap with price starting at $130 for the Iconia B1-720. Let's jump into the individual specifications of the tablets. Among the two, Iconia A1-830 has better specifications. The tablet has 7.9 inch wide screen with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. An Intel atom processor powers the device along with 1 GB of RAM. Archos has unveiled two new Android smartphones. Both phones, Archos Helium 50 and Helium 45 comes with 4G LTE connectivity, and they are offered at a rather cheap price. Archos Helium 50 is priced $249.99 while the Helium 45 has a price tag of $199.99. Both the smartphones defer primarily in terms of screen size, battery, camera and internal storage memory. Both the phones comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. Let's look into the individual specifications of these devices. Archos Helium 50 features a 5 inch 720p HD display.
