Android created a revolution in the mobile industry and every company is coming up with Android devices and as you know MWC is a venue for them to announce their new devices. Huawei is also tossing a number Android powered devices at MWC 2010. Huawei introduces U8800, U8300, U8100 and U8110 along with SmartKit S7 tablet.
Huawei U8800
Huawei U8800 is the first HSPA Android device. The device features a 3.8-inch wide screen display, Android 2.1, and a transfer speed of up to 14Mbps in downlink.
Kevin Tao CEO of Huawei says “The customized Android smartphones reflect our long-term investment to develop high-end devices which enable operators to deliver enhanced and differentiated mobile services. Android being open to third party programs means that operators can add a number of various applications to the phone. The U8800 enables operators to provide tailor-made, stylish and affordable smartphones to their subscribers.”
The device will be available from third half of 2010. There is no words on pricing but it is supposed to be coming with an affordable price tag.
Huawei U8300
Huawei U8300 focuses on younger crowd with its funky design. The device features a full QWERTY keyboard and integration with social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.
The device is available in three different colors to attract youth market. purple, green and yello as shown in pictures. There is no detail available about pricing.
Huawei U8100 and U8110
Huawei U8100 and U8110 got entirely different design than others. Huawei U8100 is supposed to be an entry level device and Huawei U8110 seems to be little bit sleek. The two devices are coming with almost same features like 2.8 inch QVGA display, 3.2 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a .3 MP VGA front-facing camera, etc. Both of the devices will be arriving in the European markets in Q2 of 2010.
The SmartKit S7
The SmartKit S7 is a tablet from Huawei with 7-inch WVGA display. The device can be connected to various sources of information and also can be used for calls (VOIP).
