It looks like the year 2012 will be for quad core smart phones, as LG following HTC and Samsung is also prepping their quad core based devices. The new device named LG X3 appeared for the first time over the web. According to the rumors, the device is waiting for MWC venue for its debut, which is going to be held in next month.

The first quad core based phone from LG supposed to be coming with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, a 4.7-inch 1280×720 HD touchscreen, 16 GB of built-in storage, 8 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, NFC, 21 Mbps HSPA support, microSD card support, 2,000 mAh battery all packed within its 9mm thickness.
LG X3 will be running on Android 4.0 ICS, most probably. And we expect to see the device in late spring or early summer.
