Sony XPERIA U, a smaller but a compact device with a 3.5-inch display and a solid build recently passed through the FCC. The device is supposed to be coming with a 1GHz dual-core processor, and pre-loaded with Android Gingerbread 2.3.7.
FCC takes use of the chance and the device get torn down in to pieces, to reveal what Sony kept underneath this stylish one. The mainboard is protected by EMI shields, and the overall build of the handset is not so hard. The interesting thing is that we still can see the of Ericsson branding.
The FCC visit of the device clearly points out that XPERIA U is all set to hit the market, and that won't be so far.
