ZTE Nubia Z5 Is Official Now, 5" 1080p Screen, Jelly Bean And Lot More For $555

ZTE Nubia 5, one of the awesome devices from the Chinese makers to compete with many high-end devices, like HTC Droid DNA and even Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S IV, is now official and there is no surprise as it was an expected. Made its appearance here and there many times, the device was supposed to make an official debut on the so called "the world ends” day December 21, and neither happened. Nubia Z5 got another official releasing date on December 26, and now the 5" super thin Android guy is official now.

Even though the phone is far from being a secret with its specifications, let's check what the Chinese makers have packed inside, to compete with some heavyweights. It device sports a 5 inch IPS display with crisp 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood there will be a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory for storage. 13 MP rear camera with flash will capture all your cherished moments, while the 2MP front shooter will let you make video calls.

Other important features includes HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC. It runs on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and there will be a 2300 mAh battery will power the device.

The Nubia Z5 measures around 138 x 69.2 x 7.6 mm and 126 grams heavy. ZTE is planning to retail the device in their homeland as one of the top Android devices to date. The company says Nubia Z5 will retail for 3,456 yuan (about $555) in China, in elegant white and black options, starting from next month. ZTE is also planning for a premium titanium version of the device, that fits only for heavy pockets, 7,890 yuan (around $1,265).
