Vertu's first ever Android powered smartphone is real and is official now. Vertu Ti, is the company's first attempt in Android smartphone space, and its stunning look makes it a unique one, as always. Vertu, the luxury phone brand famous for their material selection and production process, and also for their expensive price tag.
The latest one is also not different, like the other Vertu devices before, the Vertu Ti is also expected to hit the shelves with a huge price tag. The Vertu fans have to splurge almost $10,000 to put their hands on this new comer. For that price, the users will get a smartphone finished with top-notch materials and it offers a luxury touch and feel. The screen is completed from sapphire crystal and the chassis is fashioned with Grade 5 titanium, The company claims that this handmade device consist of 184 individual parts and each of them is finished by company's craftsmen in England.
But you won't expect any high end specifications from the device, and we have to say that the device is more than one year old in terms of its specification.
It offers a 3.7-inch screen with 480×800 resolution, 1.7 GHz dual core processor, 8 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, a front facing camera with 1.3 MP, 1 GB of RAM, 64 GB of built-in storage space, and also offers all the regular connectivity options. There is also a set of stereo speakers, tuned in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen.
It runs on Android 4.0 ICS and there won't be any LTE connectivity. It weighs around 181 gm with in a dimensions of 130.4×58.9×12.8 mm.
