Sony Xperia Z1 f hits the shelves in Japan, International version may follow


Sony Xperia Z1 f is the sized down version of the original Xperia Z1. It is now available in Japan through Docomo. The launch of the phone was expected.
The features of the phone remains same with the internals kept same as in its original version. The difference seems to be only in its size and display resolution. Sony Xperia Z1 f comes with 4.3 inches display with 720p resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2 GB of RAM. The 20.7 MP rear camera with Exmor RS is there too in the device.
The listed price of the device in Japan is 79,800 Yen which is equivalent to US $768. The price goes down when purchased with contract.
According to sources the international version of the device may get the name Xperia Z1 S, and is expected to launch during the CES 2014 in January. The rumored device Sony Anami may as well be this device. Sony Anami recently had passed through the FCC. Sony Xperia Z1 was earlier code named Honami before it was launched and the names are almost identical.
