Archos has unveiled two new Android smartphones. Both phones, Archos Helium 50 and Helium 45 comes with 4G LTE connectivity, and they are offered at a rather cheap price. Archos Helium 50 is priced $249.99 while the Helium 45 has a price tag of $199.99.
Both the smartphones defer primarily in terms of screen size, battery, camera and internal storage memory. Both the phones comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. Let's look into the individual specifications of these devices.
Archos Helium 50 features a 5 inch 720p HD display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 quad-core chipset with 1.4 GHz Cortex A7 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU. It is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage memory in the device is 8 GB which can be expanded using microSD card. The battery is of 2000 mAH capacity. There is 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera in the device.
Archos Helium 45 is a smaller device in comparison with Helium 50. It features a 4.5 inch WVGA display. Archos have kept the same chip set in Helium 45. It is powered by the same 1.4 GHz Cortex A7 processor, Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. Internal storage memory is 4 GB expandable. Battery capacity is 1700 mAH. The rear camera is 5 MP while in the front there is a VGA camera.
Both the devices will be showcased in the upcoming CES 2014.
