After Google announced their Android 2.2 Froyo officially, HTC officially announced the details about the updation to Froyo for their devices, that the Android devices launched in 2010 will get Froyo updation by the second half of this year itself.At that time T-Mobile's myTouch 3G was also mentioned in the list.
But now according to some anonymous sources, myTouch 3G is expected to get Android 2.2 updates in next week itself, but the updates are available for the T-Mobile staff only for the testing purpose.
myTouch 3G the sixth Android device from T-Mobile USA is available for $179.99 for a two year contract with the features like full QWERTY keyboard, HVGA touchscreen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, Swype, 5 MP camera etc. The customers have to wait atleast upto second half of this year to get Android 2.2 updates.
