Remember Lenovo IdeaTab S2109, a tablet with a new brand name and with some nice features, introduced by the company back in CES? The device now goes official through a PR video via company's official YouTube channel. The tablet sports a 9.7-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, like an iPad.
The Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 is coming with a stylish unibody design and a gunmetal like finishing. It is taking the power from Texas Instruments OMAP processor, most probably 1.5 GHz dual-core 4460 unit, and offers a memory of 1GB. The tablet is enriched with a good array of network options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and the connetivty options includes micro USB, microSD card slot, and also a microHDMI port. It offers FM radio too. 1.3 MP front facing camera is provided for a video chat, and there is no rear camera on the device. There are four individual speakers placed on the four backside corners of the device, that supports SRS Trumedia sound system for an outstanding sound experience.
The most exciting feature of the device, is it is coming with pre loaded Android 4.0 ICS, first time from Lenovo for a tablet. It also offers access to Google Play which lets you to enjoy a number of apps. The battery juice for the device longs upto 10 hours which seems pretty good.
No words on pricing and availability of the device.
