LG's flagship device for the next period, LG Optmius G2 were in the news for the past few weeks, and it was even rumored to show its face at the CES 2013, but that didn't happen. But no need to worry as the MWC is not so far, and there are some hints that the device is to make its debut at the MWC 2013.
Now a Japanese website reported on a new high end smartphone from LG, codenamed as LG Optimus G Pro. Right now we don't have any solid proof to confirm that this is the rumored LG Optimus G2. But the Optimus G Pro will be joining the NTT DoCoMo with a model number L-04E, and remembering the mdel number L-01E of original Optimus G.
The LG Optimus G Pro is reported to be coming with a five-inch Full HD 1080p display, and runs on a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor assisted with a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The backside of the device is equipped with a 13 MP shooter, and of course a better 3000mAh battery to power the device. There is also a bump in the thickness and weight, the Optimus G Pro weighs around 160g, with a 10.1mm profile, while the original Optimus tips to 8.5mm with a 145g.
