LG have introduced a new smartphone for the South Korean market dubbed as Optimus GK. The device will be for those who wish to have the entire features of their flagship device Optimus G Pro, in a more comfortable handy device. LG packs all the features of their G Pro in GK, but the huge 5.5" screen is replaced with a manageable 5" display.
It packs a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and Adreno 320 GPU like in G Pro and offers the same 1080p (1080x1920 pixels) resolution with a pixel density of 440ppi. There will be a 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. You will get 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded further with a microSD card slot. A 3,100 mAh battery will power the show.
LG also includes a number of software customization on the device like Dual-Recording feature which allows simultaneous video recording from both front and rear cameras and saves the front camera input in as a part of rear camera input frame, smart camera, dual camera etc. The phone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
The Optimus GK is destined for the Korean telecom operator KT and will start available in month. The phone will be available in Platinum White and Indigo Black colors.
