Samsung's Upcoming Android Tablet Galaxy Tab Caught In The Wild?

We all know that Samsung is cooking up an Android powered tablet as a rival to Apple's iPad and has already appeared over the web many times. Now the device caught wildly again. This time however there is no new details  available. As we had  reported previously , the device may be coming with a 7-inch display and running most probably on Android 2.1. The Galaxy Tab is expected to hit the shelves sometime during this quarter itself. Just previous month Samsung’s JK Shin had confirmed that the device will be running on Android OS and will have two cameras, Wi-Fi, GPS, 7-inch screen etc. Anyway let's wait for another leak or an official announcement for more details right? Sprint's HTC Evo 4G To Get Android 2.2 From August 3

After Google launched their latest Android OS Android 2.2 Froyo, HTC had confirmed that their 2010 launched devices will get Android 2.2 updates soon in the future. Now Sprint's HTC Evo is also getting Android 2.2 updates. Sprint officially confirmed the details to roll out Android 2.2 Froyo for their EVO 4G. Samsung Announced X180 Netbooks In Korea

Samsung just announced Samsung X125 laptop, and the company added one more netbook to its X series. The new device Samsung X180 with the same 11.6-inch display. The X180 seems to be more light and thin than the previous model and is coming to Korea. The Samsung X180 features Intel's powerful Core i3-330UM processors along with Intel integrated graphics. Unknown HTC Device With Codename PC49120 Visits FCC

A new device from HTC spotted at FCC today. This unknown device is labled as PC49120. The device supports WCDMA bands II and V, GSM/EDGE 850 and 1900 and also sports Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth. 1.9 GHz Intel Atom Z650 Spotted In First Device In China

Intel is developing a new chipset, Intel Atom Z6xx series for low power devices particularly for tablets and smart phone. The interesting thing is that a device which is runing on this all new chipset was spotted in China. Chinese PC manufacturer Teso outed the pictures of a tablet running with this new chipset. The Teso is offering a choice of processor for their new 9.7-inch tablet. Users can select either 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z515 chip or a 1.9GHz Intel Atom Z650 processor for the new tablet. If the device is coming with 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z515 chip then it is using Windows 7 as OS. But if it is powered by 1.9GHz Intel Atom Z650 processor then it should be coming with either Android 2.2 or MeeGo Linux, as Windows 7 may not be capable with Atom Z650 processor. Source

Acer is readying a new dual boot netbook for the trade show which is going to be held at Taiwan next month. As its predecessor Acer Asprie One D250 netbook this new netbook Acer Aspire One AOD255 will also be launched with Google Android and Windows XP. There is only few details available about this device right now and even though the T-Mobile is not giving any details about the company, the HTML code refers to the name "Vanguard," which seems to be one of the codename of G1 Blaze aka HTC Vision. Microsoft's senior product manager Greg Sullivan confirmed the hardware partners of Windows Phone 7 OEM launch partners in an interview with Pockelint. According to Pocketlint the partners Dell, LG, Asus, HTC, and Samsung will be releasing their WP7 based handset around the launch of the new smartphone OS from Microsoft. Motorola Droid X Getting Wi-Fi Issues?

Recently launched Droid X from Motorola is seems to facing some WI-Fi issues. The display issues of the device is already reported by some users, besides that now it is facing some difficulty in connecting to Wi-Fi hotspots. Mozilla Released Updation For Firefox And Thunderbird

Mozilla released the updation for its Firefox and Thunderbird softwares. The new updation can address a number of stability and security issues. The new updated version of Mozilla Firefox 3.6.7, patches 14 vulnerabiliteis and more than seven of these are labled "critical". The updation to Firefox 3.5 version is also available which can deal the same problems. Mozilla's mail client Thunderbird fixes for the current 3.1 version which can address the some minor fixes and security vulnerability and stability issues. The interesting thing is that Mozilla is offering upto $3,000 carrot for each bug discovered in their applications. This shows the improved multimedia capabilities of OS6, and seems that they are focused mainly on the media experience in the BlackBerry OS 6 The new OS is providing a carousel interface in landscape mode when you are navigating in landscape mode, just like Apple's Cover Flow, and also offes album art from iTunes and other locations if they sync with BlackBerry Media Sync. MSI 3D Notebooks To Be Launched In Mid-September

MSI is planning to launch 3D notebooks in mid-september of 2010. According to Digitimes the company is planning to change the NVIDIA's 3D Vision and instead it is using Dynamic Digital Depth's software which converts 2D images into 3D. The new notebook will be using polarized glasses and Intel's integrated GPU for display. Asustek Computer and Toshiba is using shutter glass 3D solution, but LG Electronics, Acer, Fujitsu and Lenovo are planning to use polarized glasses 3D solutions for their 3D notebooks, as they are passive and inexpensive which would appeal to a broader audience.

HP Slate 500 Windows 7 Tablet Spotted On HP's Website

The rumors of HP killing their Windows 7 tablet has been floating around the net recently. But now it seems like the rumors came to an end as the HP Slate 500 spotted at company's website. From the available details the slate features a 8.9-inch touch screen display with a pen support and is coming with some interesting features which is not present in Apple's iPad, like dual cameras (front/back) and Flash compatibility. The company says that the device "gives you access to photos, videos and everything on the Internet with just a touch," As it runs on Windows 7 it will be compatible with all the softwares that you know. The device is also supposed to be coming with features like 32GB or 64GB of storage space, Intel Atom Z530 processor, support for for 1080p video playback etc. and also offer more battery life than the Apple's iPad. Sprint Epic 4G Spotted At FCC

The Sprint's Epic 4G has made its appearance at FCC on July 20. As we know the phone is coming with nice features like CDMA, EVDO and WiMaX radios. The ID label on the device points that the device got a model number of SPH-D70, which is none other than Sprint Epic 4G.
