MSI is planning to launch 3D notebooks in mid-september of 2010. According to Digitimes the company is planning to change the NVIDIA's 3D Vision and instead it is using Dynamic Digital Depth's software which converts 2D images into 3D. The new notebook will be using polarized glasses and Intel's integrated GPU for display.
Asustek Computer and Toshiba is using shutter glass 3D solution, but LG Electronics, Acer, Fujitsu and Lenovo are planning to use polarized glasses 3D solutions for their 3D notebooks, as they are passive and inexpensive which would appeal to a broader audience.
