Gateway introduced three new stylish laptops in U.S market, ID47, NV55 and NV57. The ID47 is a 14-inch one where the NV series sports a 15.6-inch display.
Starting from ID47, it sports a 14" edge-to-edge LED backlit display (1366 x 768 resolution), and is coming in 13.3-inch form factor, thanks to the frameless widescreen display.
The ID47 with Intel's second generation Core processor power offers you some nice features including a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a DVD drive, Dolby Home Theater v4 Audio, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, USB 3.0 connectivity, a HDMI output. The battery can power the device up to 8 hours. Gateway ID47 is coming in two attractive color choices including 'Infinity Blue Liquid' and 'Brushed Platinum'.
On the other hand NV series devices both NV55 and NV57 are almost same except NV55 boast of newly released AMD Fusion A-Series APU where NV57 is based on 2nd gen Intel Core processor. The common features includes LED-backlit display with 1366 x 768 resolution, chiclet keyboard, a USB 3.0 port, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a HDMI output, a multi-card reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, an integrated or discrete (Nvidia GeForce) graphics etc. It can offer you battery life of up to four hours only which is a draw back. The exterior is decorated with either a subtle geometric pattern or a digital wave pattern.
Both NV55 and NV57 both starts at $530 where the ID 47 is available for $700.
