HP Launched HP Passport 1912nm Internet Monitor For $259

HP recently introduced a new monitor, with some interesting features and the name of the device itself is so special. The monitor Passport 1912nm is an 18.5-inch device with built-in processors and many other features.



Starting from the basic features, the 18.5-inch display offers a resolution of 1366 x 768 with 5ms response time, 600:1 contrast ratio and 200cd/m2 brightness. The device houses low-power DDR2 memory and is drawing the power from Texas Instruments OMAP4430 processor, that features hardware acceleration of various multimedia codecs.


You will get Ethernet, built-in speakers, 5x USB ports, full-size USB keyboard and mouse, media card reader etc. from the monitor. The monitor also offers support for 1080p playback, embedded Adobe Flash plug-in, and plug-and-play connectivity.


Apart from these basic features the monitor offers access to the internet, and you can check email and access videos, images and music by an easy web interface with a locked-down operating system to prevent vulnerability to viruses.


The device will be an ideal one to use in lobbies, hotels, waiting rooms, airports and other business environments.
