Even in the flood of touch screen devices without QWERTY keyboards, RIM never gave up their QWERTY keypads, for which their mobile devices are famous for. Now it seems like that they are saying bye bye to the QWERTY keypads, at least for a while. It's already known that RIM’s working on some new devices with their upcoming BlackBerry 10 OS, and the latest news indicates that the new device will be a keyboardless one and coming with just a touchscreen.
RIM is planning to release the first BB 10 powered device later in 2012, without keypads, and a full QWERTY keyboard device to follow that.
From the available details, the so called device is supposed to be coming with an ultra thin design, 1.5GH dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and is supposed to be the same device Black Berry London, leaked recently.
The company's latest financial results were not so exciting , so let's wait and see whether this touch screen device change the game or not.
