Unlocked Sony Xperia M now available in US for $249

Here is a good news for those waiting patiently to buy Sony Xperia M. The unlocked phone is now available from Sony and New Egg online stores. Xperia M features a 4-inch scratch-proof display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The display captures multi-touch gesture input screen. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage is however low at 4 GB, but it can be expanded up to 32 GB using the microSD card. connectivity options includes Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi® Hotspot function, aGPS, NFC and wireless LAN. The rear camera is 5 MP 4X optical zoom . There is also a front facing camera for video chat. 1700mAh battery offers up to 10 hours 16 min on GSM and up to 9 hours 3 min on UMTS network. The phone offers a standby of Up to 498 hours on GSM and Up to 454 hours on UMTS. It weighs 4.06 ounces and has dimensions ranging 4.88 x 2.44 x 0.37 inches. Sony Xperia Z1 unboxing Video Appears Online

Sony launched their flagship device Xperia Z1 a day ago at the IFA Berlin Show. Now the unboxing video of the smartphone appears online. The video shows the user Unboxing the device, shows what is inside the pack and switches on the device. Media was abuzz about the device prior to the launch. The wide attention was because of its proposed 20 MP camera and its water proof features. These features including such high resolutions camera are yet to be found on most smartphones around. It's not just the phone's camera, but Xperia Z1 is special in many other ways. The 5 inch display offers fullHD display and features Sony's Triluminos technology. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 along with 2GB of RAM. Alcatel Launches One Touch Idol Alpha, Idol S and Idol mini Phones atIFA

Alcatel launches not one but three new android smartphones at IFA, Berlin 2013. They are named Alcatel One Touch Idol Alpha, One Touch Idol S and One Touch Idol Mini. The phones were already listed in the Alcatel site few days backs. The difference between Idol Alpha and Idol S is the Processor. Alpha phone is powered by a quad core processor while Idol S is powered by a dual core processor. Alpha boasts 2 GB of RAM while Idol features a 1GB RAM. Idol Alpha has a superior 12.1 MP rear camera while the rear camera in Idol S is 8 MP. The screen size are resolution are identical in both phones. Both phones features 4.7 inch IPS HD display (720x1280 pixels). Internal storage of Alpha is 16 GB while that of Idol S is 4G expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card. Xiaomi MiPhone 3 announced, price starts at $327

Xiaomi has announced a new smartphone named MiPhone 3 in China. Xiaomi is rising steadily in popularity in China. The company with its recent appointment of Google's Huggo Barra is clearly heading for an entry into the global smartphone business. Currently Xiaomi's phones are available only in China and some other Asian countries. MiPhone 3 has a 5 inch fullHD display with OGS. It is powered by either 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 (China Unicom version) or NVIDIA’s Tegra 4 quad-core processor (China Mobile variant) along with 2 GB of RAM. There is 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera in the device. It comes in 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage variants. Sony QX10 and QX100 smartphone lenses appears at Amazon

Just an hour before the much anticipated Sony press conference at IFA 2013, Sony QX10 and QX100 lenses gets listed on Amazon.com. This leaves with little surprise from Sony for the scheduled press meet. However Sony Xperia Z1 still excites with its proposed 20MP rear camera. QX10 smartphone attachable lens is priced $249 at amazon. This lens has the ability to turn your smartphone into a camera with 10X zoom. The lens connects to the phone using NFC or WiFi. It works with android and IOS smartphones and take pictures with the quality of a dedicated camera. The lens can be connected to a phone via clip. There is an SD card slot that can be found on the lens. After months of speculations, rumors and leaks Sony have finally unveiled its flagship smartphone, Sony Xperia Z1, for rest or the year. There were much excitement about its rumored 20MP camera. Sony also promoted the product using its water and dust proof capacity. Oppo N1 with a 5.9 inch display expected on September 23

Opo N1 is special in more than one ways. It has got a large 5.9 inch diagonal screen, comes with plugin lenses and a touch pad at the back. 5.9 inch screen is common in phablets now a days. We now have many devices with screen sizes more than 5 inches. But the other two features are special and they are new on smartphones. We recently saw LG G2 with buttons at the back. Oppo, however, has gone a step further by making use of otherwise not utilized rear space of the smartphone by planting a touch surface for control. This may become an example that will be followed by other phone makers. Another distinguished feature, the plugin lens, is also first in smartphones.
