Verizon Wireless seems to be improving its next generation data network. The network provider announced the availability of Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot. The device will be available for pre order in stores and also on-line from today and it is going to hit the stores from March 31.
Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot was already showcased at CES 2011, and with this device, five WiFi enabled devices can access internet via Verizon's LTE network. Verizon is offering this device for $99 on a two-year contract after $50 mail-in rebate. The machine requires atleast $50 monthly data plan with 5GB monthly limit and you have to pay $10 extra for additional 1GB.
Samsung 4G LTE is backward compatible with Verizon’s 3G network and it offers speeds ranging from 5 to 12Mbps for downloads and 2 to 5Mbps for upload.
