The ultraportable Lenovo IdeaPad U150 CULV hits US market for $649. The sleek looking IdeaPad has dimensions of 11.4 x 7.5 x 0.5 and an LED-backlit display with 1,366 x 768 resolution. Choice of Core 2 Duo processors or 1.3GHz Pentium dual-core and 3GB or 4GB RAM with 250GB or 320GB storage. Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, gigabit ethernet, WiFi b/g connectivity options . Other features include ports for two USB 2.0, VGA and HDMI, one USB/eSATA combo, and a 4-in-1 memory card reader. Windows 7  is the OS used in this ultraportable IdeaPad. The 6 cell standard battery can offer up to 7 hours run time.

The In-Store Sales Of Nokia N900 Delayed In UK

It seems like the demand out did the supply of Nokia N900 as it takes a long time reach the market than expected. Delivery of the most awaited smartphone of the year begins today and it will be done on a first-come first serve basis. The Nokia N900 is based on the Maemo platform and is the first Mameo device to include phone functionality. It uses  Maemo 5 Linux operating system and TI OMAP3 microprocessor and ARM Cortex-A8 core. Other features includes 5 Mega pixel camera, mobile internet device with web browsing and a portable media player with a touch friendly home screen. Those who have not planned ahead will have to wait for some more time to play with this device. It is coming to UK carrying a price tag of £499 including VAT.

First ELSE Smartphone From Emblaze Mobile - To Giving You A Revolutionary UI

Developed by Emblaze Mobile, an Isreali company, the First ELSE smartphone is going to be the new player in an already crowded smartphone market. First ELSE is coming with Linux-based OS and it breaks all the existing user interface concepts. You can select the functions from a semicircular menu by just panning up and down and by pushing across the desired one. The sensors can change the button actions. The user can interact with the device features like phone, camera, GPS etc. The First ELSE can also record voice mail messages and store them along with the call time. The Samsung GO 3G Netbook Hits The Market on November 22

The Samsung GO N310 which rocked the US market with its launch in July has updated the OS. Device got upgraded with Windows 7 and a 3G integrated packing. The updated atom based netbook is coming with AT&T 3G. Get instant access to broadband speeds. It also offer a pebble-style keyboard for comfortable typing. This light weight netbook weighs just 2.8 lbs and is designed with rounded edges, soft and slim texture making the device outstanding.The features of Samsung Go includes a 4-cell 4000Ah battery, greater viewing angles, LED-backlit, the glass display which is scratch resistant. GO will be available from November 22 for $199.99 and we assume it to be around  $35 per month with a two-year data contract.

Pegatron Smartbook Is On The Way

According to Shanzi the recently spotted smartbook from Pegatron is on its way to hit the US markets. With its technical specialities the smartbook  seems to function like a cell phone rather than a netbook. The smartbook is coming with "Always On" capability which saves the waiting time for boot up. 10-inch display is powered with a fanless ARM processor. But at this point no details are available on whether its a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon. We expect a strong battery life for the device. It is expected to hit the market in the first quarter of 2010.

Entry level Ultra Portable X100e Lenovo Thinkpad Confirmed Its Launching On 5th January 2010

According to Lenovo we don't have to wait 'much longer for their new Thinkpad device X100e. It is not X200e as we assumed previously which confirmed its launching on 5th January 2010. X100e is coming with a tagline 'Entry level ultra portable, the first ThinkPad of its size'. The X100e appears to have a matt black finishing. Thinkpad seems to be using a 12.1 inch TFT LCD diaplay with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and is supposed to be using either AMD Athlon Neo processor (1.6GHz) with dedicated ATI Radeon HD3410 GPU or Intel Centrino ULV (1.4GHz) processor with GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics Other key features of the device includes integrated mobile broadband, 3GB DDR2 RAM, Windows 7 OS, 160/250/320GB hard drive, possibly with a few SSD options, UltraBase docking station with built-in optical drive, also an optional support for Gobi 3G. 8GB iPhone 3G Set To Launch For Christmas For $99?

Apple's new 8GB iPhone 3G is meant for those who wish to own an iPhone at a cheaper price. By the new release Apple also intent to beat the competition raised by Android powered Droid smart phones and to combat Droid mania. Boy genius report quoted some unknown sources claiming an 8GB iphone 3G to soon hit the markets and most probably before the Christmas Bells. Instead of a video camera iPhone 3GS will be using a still camera without a built in digital compass. Apple iPhone 3G is a good news for budget conscious smartphone buyers.

Samsung TL 225 Dual View Camera - Little Bit Disappointed With Its Poor Implementation

Samsung Dual View TL 225 was announced in last August. The camera has got some cool features like a 3.9 x 2.4 x 0.7 inch  wide screen, 12 megapixel, 3.5 inch touch screen and with a resolution of about 4,000x3,000 pixels/1,280x720 at 30fps, lithium rechargable battery which can handle 180 shots, MicroSD/SDHC card which can store upto 8GB and have a large automatic shooting feature set, unique dual-screen design. However there are some disappointing features too. The responsive touch-screen navigation now seem to be disappoint the customers. The disconcerting touch screen is not offering a prompt response. The front screen of this device is off centered and the result is that the images looks like everyone is staring off to a side. The shutter lag is also excessive.  When it comes to the picture quality, it is also not that impressive because the device is giving pictures with poor image qualities when compared to a camera having similar resolution.

Here comes an ultra thin notebook from Dell.  Adamo XPS is a cool and awesome notebook from Dell with a thickness of just 9.99mm. The design is stylish and appealing on its exterior. Rub smoothly across the strip to unlock the notebook which means that just a finger stroke is required to open it. The display of the device is  a glossy 13.4-inch one with 1266 x 768 resolution. The elevated keyboard with metal coated keys is comfortable for typing and there is also a desktop like keyboard. Features of the device includes a dual core 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo ULV processor, 128GB solid-state drive, 4GB of RAM and a Windows 7 Premium (64-bit). Vphone V1 New Android Smart Phone From Saygus

Saygus, a company which is comparatively new to the mobile arena, announced their first Android smart phone VPhone V1 earlier this November. Vphone V1, the aesthetic smartphone which runs Android OS cleared the Fcc. The company now has revealed the photos and specifications of Vphone V1. It is coming with a 3.5-inch display with resolution of 800 x 840. There is however no details about the version of Android operating system. Otherwise we’re left with the same specs we had earlier in the week, which basically means CDMA, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3.5-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen, 624MHz Marvell PXA310 processor and a 5-megapixel autofocus camera. If the rumors are true, expect the VPhone V1 to drop in early 2010.

HTC HD2 Unboxing

HTC HD2 has an attractive 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen. Other features are HTC Sense UI, 1GHz Qualcomm snapdragon chip-set. The box contains the usual array of HTC accessories like USB to micros USB cable, AC adapter, a wired stereo handset. The HD2 doesn't have any ExtUSB connector which makes it thin compared to other phones. To type in the 4.3-inch touchscreen in portrait orientation is very easy. Re-sizable on-screen QWERTY keyboard with large buttons and decent auto-correction helps typing without any error. Dordo And Leo - Desktop Platforms From AMD Tipped Foe May2010

AMD, the leaders in motherboard manufacturing, is planning to launch two new desktop platform in May2010. Targeting the mainstream and high end, the two processor AMD Dordo and Leo platforms are using ATI Radeon HD 5000 series video cards and also uses a processor Athlon II or Phenom II ranges. Dordo will pair an 880G northbridge and SB810 southbridge with Athlon II CPUs, where as Leo is using SB850 southbridge and 890FX or 890GX (RD890) northbridge and phenon II CPUs with six-core Thuban processor.

HP Envy 14 Netbook Tipped

HP seems to be planning to bridge the gap between the 13.1-inch Envy 13 and 15-inch Envy 15, the MacBook style netbook from HP. As per the details on a support page of HP's site, the company is planning a third Envy in the form of Envy 14. And from the name itself we presume that the Envy 14 wiil be coming with a 14 inch display. There is no word on the hardware specifications and it may occupy the slot between existing Envy 13 and 15 where the former uses an Intel Core Duo processor and the latter uses a Core i7n chip. The device is most likely to be powered with new i5 mobile core chip. And we expect the new device to include a high performance multi-touch track pad and dedicated graphics.
