Developed by Emblaze Mobile, an Isreali company, the First ELSE smartphone is going to be the new player in an already crowded smartphone market. First ELSE is coming with Linux-based OS and it breaks all the existing user interface concepts.
You can select the functions from a semicircular menu by just panning up and down and by pushing across the desired one. The sensors can change the button actions. The user can interact with the device features like phone, camera, GPS etc. The First ELSE can also record voice mail messages and store them along with the call time.
FIRST ELSE is considered an all-in-one gadget and each function in the phone execute as a single integrated application. The Linux based platform for the device is developed by Access software company which is known as 'ELSE Intuition.' Phone uses the Texas Instruments OMAP 3430 processor which can run multiple applications simultaneously.
Other features includes a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen with tactile feedback, 854 x 480 pixel resolution, GPS and A-GPS, tilt and light sensors, 5MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and 3G UMTS/HSDPA connectivity. And no other details like the price and availability are available right now.
