
Did you remember the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid, an interesting combination of tablet and netbook which was showcased at Ces 2010 in the starting of this year? The company promised to release the device by starting of this year but the device is yet to hit the market, as the team was not impressed on their custom Linux OS and were waiting for the Android OS.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid is a combination of a thin and light netbook based on Intel ULV processor & Windows 7 and a ARM based 11.6-inch LePad tablet. Now the things are going according to the plans and the LePad tablet will be releaed in December and the combination of tablet and netbook will be launched in January 2011. But the device is launching in China and is expected to be coming with a price tag of $999. However there is no words on whether it is coming to other part of the world or not.
