Nokia T7 with TD-SCDMA Support Got FCC Approval

Nokia T7, an upcoming smartphone from the Finnish company made its appearance at FCC. The device is already rumored back before two months and its approval from FCC makes its way clear to hit the market. The device seems to be a varient for Nokia's successfully running N8 and is coming with TD-SCDMA support, which clearly means that it is heading to China Mobile. The device features a 640 x 360 display, Symbian platform, 8 mega pixle camera etc. But it doesn't support HDMI. MSI is offering 1280 x 800 pixel resolution to its 10.1-inch capacitive IPS multi-touch display. Samsung SPH-D600 For Sprint Smiles For Camera

Sprint seems to be dipping their foot more into their 4G LTE networks by adding some new device, as they have to compete with their rivals like Verizon which already got a number of 4G devices in their hands. Here we got a leaked picture of Sprint's upcoming smartphone from Samsung. The new device code named as Samsung SPH-D600 is a mid range device and from the leaked picture it looks like that it runs on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread. The official name of the device is not yet confirmed, but we think it may be an extention of their Galaxy family. The device sports a 3.2 megapixel rear camera and a front facing camera for video chat, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi N connectivity, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 processor, 320 x 480 pixels display. Sprint And Motorola Setting An Event On June 9, May Be For Motorola Photon 4G

Sprint is prepping to launch one more high end smartphone in their in their 4G flavour, this time from Motorola. The all new device from Motorola resembles the Droid X and Droid X2 and is code named as Motorola Photon. The device is getting an official hands-on demonstrations, on June 9, in an event by Sprint and Motorola. They have already sent invitations for this luncheon event which is to be held in New York. It is quite interesting to see that there is no technical specification of the device leaked till yet. Anyway it may be a 4.3-inch device and most probably it will sport Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor power and a WiMax connectivity. Acer Android Oak Trail Tablet Hitting In June

It seems like the Intel is pushing the manufacturers to use its Oak Trail platform in combination with Android Honeycomb tablets by giving offers like subsidies etc. It won't be a great surprise if we see more Intel Android based tablets in coming months. Acer is the first one in the list by cooking their first Android Oak Trail based tablet and according to  DigiTimes it is expected to hit the markets in the next month itself. According to the source, the tablet will offer enhanced performance with the same price like any Android tablets available in the market. The company is also planning to launch the OakTrail tablets in MeeGo platform. ASUS and Lenovo are there in the list following Acer.

LG's Android Froyo Powered Dual Display Genesis Hitting US Cellular

It seems like the US Cellular need some more time to set for the launch of LG Genesis, the Android powered smartphone from LG. Eventhough LG officially announced full specifications of the device over their website and also said that it’s bound for US Cellular, US Cellular still hasn’t officially announced the Genesis. For those who are little aware of LG Genesis, the device is a QWERTY based Android powered one which resembles the canceled LG enV Pro for Verizon. Interesting thing aboutt the device is that it is not coming with a single screen, you can enjoy the multimedia or anything in two WVGA touch screens. really cool right. Verizon announced their first Windows Phone 7 device HTC Trophy today. But by announcing HTC HD7S, AT&T is few more step further as this is the fourth Windows Phone 7 based device from the carrier. HD 7S is already available from T-Mobile, but the device is hitting AT&T with some nice upgradation. The screen is changed from standard LCD to a Super LCD screen offering you sharper and easier-to-read display. The device also supports different 3G frequencies. NEC’s LifeTouch W dual screen Android tablet, which made its first debute at the venue of CES 2011, starts shipping from next month. This Android powered LifeTouch W reminds a folded notebook, and is easy to carry around. Both of the displays are resistive touch screens each with a 800 x 600 resolution. After rumors after rumors, Verizon finally announced the releasing date for their first Windows Phone 7 device the HTC Trophy. The network provider is set to launch the Trophy on May 26, and it is available online only during the launching. You have to wait up to June 2nd to purchase it from stores. Verizon is offering the device for $150 on a contract after a $50 mail-in rebate. If you are picking the device by the middle of July, you will hook up with a free Xbox 360 game, this is just a part of cross-promotion, cool right? Verizon To Offer Xperia Play From May 26, Pre-Orders Starting From May 19

Happy news for gaming lovers, Verizon finally announced the launching date for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, first PlayStation-certified smartphone with a sliding gamepad. This Android powered gaming smartphone from Verizon will start shipping from May 26. You can pre order the device from May 19 itself. Verizon is offering it for $199.99 with contract. You will get seven pre loaded games like Madden NFL 11 and The Sims 3 from EA, Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior from Digital Legends, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and Star Battalion from Gameloft, Tetris and Crash Bandicoot from Sony. Nokia N9 Teaser Video Leaked

It seems like that Nokia prepped their first MeeGo based handset, Nokia N9, atleast for an official announcement. After the vist at FCC last week N9 made its appearance in a professional looking teaser video may be an official one. Even this video is not released by Nokia, after the visit over FCC last week and with this teaser video it seems like that we can expect to put our hands on this device soon. Nokia N9 got a QWERTY keyboard, and a Carl Zeiss Tessar 2.8/28 12MP AF camera. There is not much details available from the video about the hardware or software specifications. Leaked Screen Shots For HTC Puccini, Android Honeycomb & Sense UI Confirmed

The details about the third Android tablet from HTC,  HTC Puccini started coming out from last week. The device functions on AT&T's upcoming 4G LTE network support. Now a couple of screen shots for the device spotted again, conforming the tablet to be running on Android Honeycomb along with HTC's own Sense UI. The screen shots available from 911 sniper shows the home screen of the device and according to the details the Puccini is expected to be coming with a 1280 x 800 resolution display. The device will be using Qualcomm’s third-generation MSM8660 processor which will offer 1080p full HD videos and HTML5 playback. More on this as we get it.

Samsung's Foldable AMOLED Display Concept - May Be The Future Display

A smartphone with larger display is necessary now a days,which is convenient for the users to make use of gaming and multi media. But the problem is the portability, as the display size increases the device become more bulky and is difficult to carry. Here is a breakthrough design from researchers at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology in South Korea. These AMOLED folding displays lets you to close the display when you are not requiring a large display, and there wont be any problem if you fold the display or bend the display. This innovative display consist of two panels sandwiched at the top and bottom of a silicon rubber. There is a protective glass cover which helps the display to act as a touch screen and also protect the device from scratches. ViewSonic 7-Inch HoneyComb Tablet ViewPad 7x Is Coming

World's first 7-inch Android Honeycomb tablet is about to debute this month. We are talking about the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x, whcih will sit above the company's already available 7-inch model ViewPad 7. The device got a different look with its triangle design and is coming in a brown color. We may expect the device making its appearance in some attractive colors. Apart fom the Android HoneyComb OS, the ViewPad 7x is coming with the power of Nvidia Tegra 2, DLNA, HDMI, HSPA+, dual front and rear cameras, and weighs 380 gms only. No other details available, (even about the version of Android Honeycomb whether it’s Honeycomb 3.0 or Honeycomb 3.1) now. ViewSonic is planning to debut the device during the Computex trade show which starts at the end of this month, and expected to be shipping from next month itself. Finally Sony Ericsson is combining their well known line of Cyber Shot cameras in their smartphones. Yes Sony Ericsson is getting ready to hit back in the smartphone market, this time with their powerful brandCyber-shot. Here we got a blurry image of the upcoming device from Sony Ericsson, and the three buttons  from the picture states that the device will be running on Android. And also you can see that the Cyber Shot logo embeded on the front side of the device. Will Google Nexus 3 Be An LG Nexus 3 With Quad-core Tegra Processor?

As we expected tons of news are out from Google I/O conferance, and the big one among that is about Nexus. Google is cooking up a new version of Nexus, Nexus 3 (exact name of the device not available now). According to Andy Rubin, who is known as the father of Android, says that "The Nexus has been the thing that we used to set the bar, and there's always going to be new ones coming out in the market…we'll make an announcement at some point in the future." From the rumors it seems like that the new version will be coming with Tegra 3 Kal-El, and running on Ice Cream Sandwich OS, most probably the new version will be manufactured by LG. No details are available about when it is going to be hit the market. But Android fans have to wait for atleast up to August, as the Tegra 3 Kal-El, is set to be released in late 2011 for phones. HP Pre 3 made another appearence at FCC recently. The device had made its first appearance back in April, but it only supported GSM 850/1900 and WCDMA bands II and V back then. HTC Puccini To Be The Third Android Tablet From HTC

One more tablet from HTC is going to hit the market, not soon but may by the end of this year itself. The rumors around this unannounced tablet from HTC has started floating over the web. The new tablet may be code named as HTC Puccini, no idea about why HTC is running around Italian composers for their new devices (HTC's second tablet, HTC Verdi yet to be announced) HTC Puccini compatible with AT&T’s upcoming 4G LTE network,and could be the first Android tablet to support AT&T’s upcoming LTE network. Remember that AT&T announced their plan about launching not less than 12 Android devices by the end of this year, and this will be one among them.
