It seems like the Intel is pushing the manufacturers to use its Oak Trail platform in combination with Android Honeycomb tablets by giving offers like subsidies etc. It won't be a great surprise if we see more Intel Android based tablets in coming months.
Acer is the first one in the list by cooking their first Android Oak Trail based tablet and according to DigiTimes it is expected to hit the markets in the next month itself. According to the source, the tablet will offer enhanced performance with the same price like any Android tablets available in the market.
The company is also planning to launch the OakTrail tablets in MeeGo platform. ASUS and Lenovo are there in the list following Acer.
