Lenovo is working on their next generation tablets in their ThinkPad series, and the new tablet, ThinkPad 2, is not pre-loaded with Android, but it will be coming with Windows 8 OS. Yes we said it, the new tablet from Lenovo is focused on business professionals and will be coming with all the stuff to meet the daily needs of business professionals.
The new ThinkPad is coming with Intel Atom Clover Trail processor, so it will be running on Windows 8 Pro. The device houses 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of built-in storage. The 10.1-inch IPS touch screen display offers a 1366×768 pixel resolution, and other features includes USB 2.0, microSD slot, 3.5 mm combo mic/headphone jack, 8MP rear camera, HD front camera, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, mini HDMI and optional LTE/HSPA+.
As it is a business friendly tablet, the special features includes fingerprint reader and an optional digital pen.
The company is also planning to launch a range of accessories for the tablet like keyboard dock with an optical trackpoint.
We don't have any info on the price details or on the availability of the device now, so let's wait and see.
