Lenovo ThinkPad T400s With Multitouch

Lenovo revealed their first four finger multitouch 14.1-inch capacitive screen 'Lenova Thinkpad T400s' with Windows7. Almost all the notebooks with multi touch are with torpid screen technology and Windows Vista interface. But Lenova ThinkPad T400s differ from those with its capacitive touch screen and  Windows 7 interface. The screen is really attractive and there is no need to worry about positioning of your finger. You can open applications with four fingers and can handle multi-tasking.

There is some limitation in touch screen and you can't do everything with fingers in Windows 7.  Lenovo provides a user interface 'SimpleTap' to adjust the screen setting and to control the volume. By selecting the red dot on the top of the screen or by double tapping on the screen you can get to 'SimpleTap'. There is bit more even you can't do with SimpleTap and with fingers. So Lenovo provides a touchpad, a pointing stick and a wonderful thinkpad to keep its form factor.

You can do zoom in or out, rotate or twist the images with your two fingers, and mix other two fingers also. Even you can borrow another two fingers from others to play the game or to edit photos.

Thinkpad with capactive display and superfast solid state drive helps to open programs more quickly, (You can Boot Windows 7 in less than 40 seconds and can launch photoshop faster), and is more useful for making VoIP calls. But the battery lifetime is to be improved.

The price is around $2,479 for a configuration of 2.53 Intel GHz core 2 Duo P600 processor, multitouch display, 128 GB Toshiba SSD, 4GB RAM.
