Samsung just introduced its new X series line with a new design language for the laptop. This laptop with fairly high standard WiFi, Bluetooth, card reader, and HDMI plug has 9 hours of battery life, with 6 hours of movie playback. The Samsung X series with 'cheap' plastic look astonished everyone when the Samsung guy stood on his laptop. Even though the plastic feels cheap, it can hold up under pressure. The matte palm rest is definitely an improvement over the glossy overload of the competition. In a closer examination we felt the design impressive. The port layout is a little slapdash but there is no brashness to complain about and every thing is there. This series support multitouch for the all important two - finger scrolling. But the X120's side button track pad left us a bit disappointed.
