During the official announcement of Sprint's first WiMAX device HTC EVO 4G, the network provider said that the device will reach the customers in this summer. Now the reports from engadget indicates that Sprint may launch the EVO 4G on June 6 or 13. But not confirmed. It is expected to hit the market on June 13.
The customers who wish to own a WiMAX device should have to pay $10 to $20 add-on on top of their regular data plan if they want to have 4G.
Now Verizon, Sprint's rival is also getting a high end smartphone powered by Android 2.1 from HTC itself in the form of HTC Incredible. Even though Sprint is confident with their EVO 4G because it is coming with something special which is not in the Incredible, nothing but 4G.
The price details of Sprint EVO 4G is not announced officially yet.
