Dell Silently Announced AMD Brazos Based Inspiron M102z


Dell introduced two new models in their Inspiration series of laptops. The newly announced Inspiron M102z is powered up with AMD's first Fusion platform - Brazos. The company outed two varients based on the processor for the 11.6-inch device. The first one sports dual-core AMD C-50 1.00 GHz processor and available for US $699 and the second one at U.S $799 is coming up with dual-core AMD E-350 1.60 GHz processor.


Both the devices runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and the common specifications includes 11.6-inch 1366x768 pixel WLED-backlit display, 7-in-1 card reader, 1.3 MP webcam, 3W stereo speakers with SRS surround technology.


The specifications on $699 varient includes 2 GB of memory and 320 GB 7.2k RPM HDD,Radeon HD 6250 graphics, Bluetooth 3.0 WiFi b/g/n, and 56 Whr 6-cell battery. Where as the device with $799 price tag is coming up with 4 GB memory, and 500 GB 7.2k RPM HDD, Radeon HD 6310 graphics etc. Other features are same as that for $699 varient.
