MSI Announced Sandybridge Powered FX420 And FX620DX


MSI today announced two new device in their gaming series of laptops, FX420 and FX620DX, both these devices coming with the power of Intel Core i7 processors and nVidia GeForce GT540M discrete graphics card to offer ultimate multimedia experience and superior performance for extreme gaming lovers.


Both of the device sports an elegant design with non-peeling raised texture seal coating to prevent smudging and scratching, chiclet keyboard design long with a platinum trim around their THX TruStudio Pro-enhanced speakers.


The devices also features an ECO Engine which actively-manages power draw to save battery time, Cinema Pro to improve the image quality of the movies ad also GPU Boost for overloacking the graphics card automatically, to provide a performance boost in various scenarios.


The FX620DX is a 15.6-inch device with either 1920 x 1080 resolution Full HD display or 1366 x 768 720p HD display. There is an option for core selection, you can either select 2.3 GHz Core i5-2410M or 2.0 GHz Core i7-2630QM. Other features of FX 620DX includes GeForce GT 540M 1GB graphic card, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, DVD writer or Blu-ray drive, 720p webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, card reader, GeForce GT 540M 1GB graphic card, 6-cell battery etc.


Where the FX420 is coming up with 14-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, 1GB Radeon HD 6470M, Intel Core i5-2410M, etc. Other specifications are almost same as that of FX620DX.
