Nokia announced one of their most affordable smartphones Nokia Lumia 610, in their Lumia series. This cheapest entry level Windows phone runs on Windows Phone 7.5 OS and comes with some interesting specifications.
The most interesting specification of Lumia 610 is, it is coming with pre-installed Nokia Transport app, which shows the public transport information for 500 cities in 46 countries, with a step by step directions to the nearest station.
The device draws power from a 800 MHz processor and packs 256MB RAM & 8GB internal memory. Other features includes a 3.7-inch LCD Capacitive touch screen display , 5 MP camera with AF, LED flash, Bluetooth wireless technology 2.1 + EDR, A-GPS, Stereo FM radio, Nokia 3.5 mm AHJ connector, USB 2.0 high-speed through micro USB connector and also offers support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100, WLAN IEEE802.11 b/g/n, HSDPA CAT 7, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA CAT 6, 5.76 Mbps
Nokia Lumia 610 also offers some pre-installed app like Nokia Drive, Nokia Transport, Nokia Maps, Skydrive storage, Xbox Live Hub.
The device measures just 119 x 62 x 12 mm and weighs around 131.5 g. 1300 mAh Li-ion/Li-polymer battery can power the device up to 6.5hrs in GSM) and 7.5hrs WCDMA.
