If you are waiting for Windows 8 based tablets, then your list is expanded with one more tablet. As you may know that manufacturers like Dell, Lenovo, Acer have already made their commitments to Windows 8 platform, and the last one to the list is Taiwanese manufacturer ViewSonic. They are planning a 10-inch tablet with a higher resolution display. There are no words on other specifications of the device but it will make itself to the market in the second quarter of 2012.
Max Liu, the product marketing director of ViewSonic Asia Pacific recently announced their plans on Windows 8 based tablets, and he puts it " The Windows 8 model will come with a 10-inch display with high resolution initially."
The company is also planning to launch more tablets, and one of them will be coming with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
