Microsoft Dropping Start Button In Windows 8 User Interface

Microsoft is performing a face lift on their windows operating system. Among the many changes is this important doing away of the legendary "start" button. "Start" button was there on every windows operating systems since the introduction of the same in Windows 95. Normal windows users used this button mainly to access the control panel, accessories and other installed programs.

"Hot corner" is what Microsoft considers a replacement for the Start menu which usually resides on the left hand side bottom corner of Windows user interfaces. Hot corner facilitates similar user experience. When the user touches or clicks on any of the four corners of the interface a menu similar to what we usually find after clicking the start button can be obtained using this "Hot corner" system. However the live bar however continues to perform in  the Windows 8. The screen shot of the interface is obtained from PC beta which indicates the removal of the button.
