Samsung Announced Galaxy Tab 2 With Android ICS

Just before the MWC Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Tab 2, a minor upgrade of Galaxy Tab which was a flagship device of the company in 2011.

The device features a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280x800, dual core 1 GHz processor (but not confirmed which processor is used to power the device), 3 MP rear camera with LED, a VGA on the front and  support 21Mbps HSPA+ internationally and also on the bands used by AT&T and major Canadian carriers.

Apart from all these specifications the device gets a slighter redesign, may be they don't want any more patent litigation with Apple.

The tablet runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and also comes in 16GB and 32GB of storage options along with a micro SDHC slot for more storage.

Samsung plans to launch the device in March itself, but the European market is getting the device first with a global roll out later.
