It seems like the LG is all set to blast at MWC 2012, as they introduce a number of smartphones one after other, just ahead of the show. The last one in the list is the successor of its 3D smartphone, Optimus 3D, named Optimus 3D Max/Cube. The device may be known as LG Optimus 3D Cube in South Korea, and as Optimus 3D Max in rest of the world. It seems like that Optimus 3D underwent a nice diet regime to become 3D Max/Cube, as it is slimmer and more stylish than the former. The device measures just 126.8 x 67.4 x 9.6 mm and weighs just 148 gm.
The device runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread during the launch, but don't worry the company promises an upgrade to ICS in the near future. The features of the device includes
- 1.2GHz TI OMAP dual-core processor
- 4.3 inch 3D WVGA Gorilla Glass display
- 8GB of internal memory
- 5MP dual-lens camera
- NFC, Wi-Fi
- DLNA, , HSPA+ 21Mbps
- 1,520 mAh battery
The company is planing to introduce this smartphone at MWC, and market it via SK Telecom's in South Korea. The expected price tag goes around 847,000 won ($753).
