AMD Brazos 2.0 Powered MSI Wind U270 Announced

MSI have introduced a new version of their Wind U270, a device which is already available in the market with 12 inch display, 1.65 GHz AMD E-450 dual core processor and 6320 graphics. The updated version offers the power of AMD’s new Brazos 2.0 dual core processor which seems to be the first laptop to ship with this processor. The device is all set to launch in Japan on may 18th.



MSI using 1.7 GHz AMD E2-1800 chip and Radeon HD 7340 graphics that offer low power consumption, and has the same 40nm core as the E-300, E-350, and E-450 chips. But the difference is that it offers integrated Radeon HD graphics core for better graphics performance.


The laptop houses 2GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive and is running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The 11.6-inch display of the device offers a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel.


Other features of the device includes one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, audio and Ethernet jacks, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, flash card reader etc.


The laptop is coming with a dimensions of 11.7″ x 7.5″ x 1.2″ and weighs 3.1 pounds. It is packed up with a 6 cell battery.
