Glad news for those who pre-orderd Sprint's HTC EVO 4G LTE. Your waiting is going to end, as the device will be yours in the next Thursday. Earlier the device was supposed to make its market entrance by May 18, but it missed the date due to the investigation of a patent infringement with Apple. But now it seems like the problems are resolved and Sprint has just announced official statement pointing that pre-orders for the HTC EVO 4G LTE will be arriving on Thursday, May 24.
It will be available from May 24, for those who had pre-ordered directly from Sprint’s website.
The device is nothing but the HTC One X specifically redesigned for Sprint, and going to be the first HD voice-capable smartphone in the US. The smartphone packs 1.5GHz dual-core processor, vibrant 4.7″ HD display, HD voice capabilities, Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC Sense 4, large 2,000mAh embedded battery, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 8-megapixel shooter at the back etc.
