Apple Refreshed iPod Nano With A 2.5" Mutitouch Screen, Home Button, Lightning Connectors & Available In Seven Colors
Even when the iPhone 5 took the cake today, and when all the eyes were on iPhone 5, Apple took the same stage as a venue to announce one more important device, the redesigned version of their iPod nano. Starting with the words from Apple, "iPod is always the most popular music player of all time, and this one is the thinnest iPod nano we ever created."
The brand new iPod nano has got a revamped design with thinner and lighter profile, while offering a larger display. Apple, this time raised the iPod nano to the level of a small phone
The new iPod nano sports a 2.5-inch screen and measures just 5.4mm thick, 38 percent thinner than before. Other major changes introduced in the device is that it has got physical controls along the side of the device that will let you to play, pause, forward, back, and adjust volume, and also sports a home button just like in the iPhone.
The 2.5-inch display is touch screen friendly and supports video playback, and with the “widescreen video” you can enjoy videos from iTunes. This cute device is also coming with FM tuner and a “live pause” that will let you to listen to your favorite show over and over again.
As we expected, it is coming with the brand new lightning connector, and the device will offer longest battery life compared to previous models. One of the interesting features of the device is the presence of fitness and pedometer and it will also offer Bluetooth support.
Of course the design won't be complete without shipping in a number of vibrant colors, so the new nano is coming in a range of attractive colors. Apple is planning to launch the device from this October onwards, for $149.
