LG Optimus G Is Official Now

When it's bigger it will be better, LG officially announced their next generation flagship device, LG Optimus G, to become the master in the Android smartphone space, with a bigger 4.7" display. With in the bigger display LG hides a wide range of innovative features to deliver a new level of user experience for the customers. LG Optimus G which is the most exciting device ever created by the Korean giant packs 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and also offers the flavors of LTE connectivity.


LG says that they lobbed in all the powerful featuresneeded for a business person, blending top notch software and hardware specification. The device features home made 4.7” WXGA True HD IPS display with 1280 x 768 resolution, that also features Zerogap Touch technology to offers slimmest, sharpest and clearest viewing experience.


The smartphone houses 2GB DDR RAM, 32GB of storage, and when it is paired with the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor the device delivers super fast performance, and also offers greater efficiency when multi-tasking, says LG.


The camera is also impressive, sports a 13MP camera with some interesting features to improve the picture quality, like Smart Shutter, Time Catch Shot, Cheese Shutter, Low Light Shot Noise Reduction and also the most exciting feature  is yet to come. The camera is a voice activated one, and users can instruct to take photos by talking to it. The device also features 1.3-megapixel front facing snapper.


When it comes to the software side LG is not disappointing us. The device offers Android 4.0 ICS, over their enhanced UX. LG says that the device will deliver a user experience for “Living Without Boundaries.” The device also offers much beyond multitasking, and LG call it as cross tasking, with this you can run more than one complex task at the same time, without compromising their task.


The device is packed with a new 2,100 mAh battery made by LG's own Chem department, and the company claims that the new battery design will deliver a longer 800 cycles, and offers a battery juice of 15 hours, while the stand by time longs to 335 hours.


The LG Optimus G sports a delicate unibody design, and LG says that 'Design Masterpiece with Timeless Value.' To attain the luxurious looks, LG has used a crystal refelection, that displays different patterns depending on the viewing angles, and the intricate polarized pattern under the sleek makes a three-dimensional illusion and finally the device offers a clean and elegant finish, with laser cut.



Now we have to say that the LG has packed their flagship device, Optimus G with enough power to compete with any other high end smartphones released recently, includes Samsung Galaxy SIII, Motorola Droid RAZR HD, and even with iPhone 5 introduced by Apple last week.


LG is planning to launch the device in South Korea with in two weeks, and the device will be hitting the carrier NTT Docomo, Japan in October or November, In US the device will be landing on in November to add a glorious touch for the Holiday shopping season.
