We all Know that Dell's ultra thin luxury laptop, 'Adamo XPS,' is an outstanding piece in design and performance. But the problem with this laptop as we know, is the heavy price tag which a common business man can't afford ($1,799).
Dell now has a solution for this and has introduced a new sleek and slim laptop. 'Dell Vostro V13' packs some of the Adamo styles and offers better performance at an affordable price. The 13-inch ultra portable laptop is .65 inch thick and is more suitable to the protect business informations.
The choice of processors includes Core 2 Solo SU3500, Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300, Celeron 743 processors and the OS may be Windows 7, Vista, or Ubuntu. The expected features as per the Dell's product page include 13.3-inch LED-backlit screen with 1366×768 resolution, optional external optical drive, Intel 4500MHD graphics, 160GB to 320GB SATA hard drive, Up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi, SD card slot, bluetooth, USB, gigabit ethernet, audio in/out, and also an ExpressCard slot which is more suitable for business travelers.
The ultra-portable business premium Vostro V13 is slightly thicker than Adamos and the battery is not replaceable. However it offers perfect protection for your business data and also offers online back up recovery for a price of $450.
No words on the launching date but it seems like we can expect this device soon.
