It is about time we change in face of any standard outlet plug. Designed by Michael Lowdermilk, TruePower UCS Power Outlet replaces the conventional plugs with a new design technic. It offers two built-in USB outlets along with standard plugs. With this new device you can charge any USB powered device like iPod, mobile phones, iPhone, PDA, MP3, MP4, PSP, digital camera etc.
The specifications of TruePower includes, an input voltage of AC 100 to 240V 50/60Hz, input current of USB 80mA, and output voltage of USB DC 5.0V 600mA etc. The gadget can be installed on any existing wall outlets.
The final UL approval waiting product is expected to go on sale in the first quarter of next year for $9.95.
