After making its turn in Korea, LG's flagship device Optimus G Pro is landing in US also. It was reported to get announced on May 1 by AT&T, and as rumored both LG and AT&T have made it official. The device will be landing on AT&T network on May 10 for $199.99 with the usual two-year contract, and you can pre-order the device from May 3.
The specifications of AT&T variant Optimus is same as that of Korean version, and includes a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 600 platform power with a 1.7GHz quad-core Krait 300 processor along with Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB of RAM.
It also offers 32GB of internal storage that is further expanded with a microSD card support, 13MP rear and a 2.1MP front camera capable of 1080p dual video recording, and a 3140 mAh battery.
In case of network and connectivity the device offers a Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS, infra-red port to turn your Optimus G Pro into a universal remote control, FM radio, HSPA support, and also the support for AT&T's LTE network.
Optimus G Pro runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with LG's proprietary UI that offers a number of useful features, apps and services. Other interesting features of the device includes VuTalk, that lets the users to draw and share notes in real time between compatible devices, QuickMemo, QSlide 2.0, and Dual Recording
