Another Xperia device from Sony goes official now, the device dubbed as Xperia A is officially announced in Japan by the carrier NTT Docomo. The wireless provider introduced the device as a part of their summer line-up. The phone will land on the teleco's network by May 17, but there is no word from Sony on the global availability of the device.
The phone is an upper mid-ranger loaded with some nice features like 4.6-inch 720p HD display, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor power. It comes packed with 13MP rear and 0.3MP front cameras, and offers LTE support. The phone runs on Android 4.1, and there will be 2,300 mAh battery out of the box.
Xperia A sports a dedicated camera button that makes the users to click faster images, it also let's the users to simultaneously shoot videos and click images. Sony Xperia A is landing in four different colors including Black, White, Pink ad Mint.
In a related news Sony also introduced another Android device Xperia ZR in this week itself with some rugged features that makes the device a perfect device for under water photography.
