As they promised Nokia officially announced their second high end smartphone for 2013 Lumia 925 aka Catwalk, that also within days after announcing the Verizon exclusive Lumia 928. The Lumia 925 also following the same design strategy, and almost same features like its other siblings Lumia 920 and 928, but its premium looks and some added features makes it top in the list.

Lumia 925 is the first device from the Fins to offer an metallic case, as they have finished the device with aluminium. When it comes to the features, Nokia have concentrated more on the camera part, and have loaded some interesting camera features in the device. The first one is Nokia Smart Camera mode – that will offer a new and easy way to capture ten images simultaneously, and edit the pictures with options like Best Shot, Action Shot, and Motion Focus for creating the perfect high quality image. Further more, the phone also offers Oggl, a Hipstamatic developed app “to take and share high quality pictures with like-minded creatives and photography enthusiasts from around the world.” Nokia Smart Camera mode is landing in other Windows 8 Lumia models also.
Now the main features of the device are almost similar to Lumia 928 including a 4.5 inch AMOLED WXGA display with 1280 x 768 resolution, dual-core Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, 8.7MP PureView rear camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera, 7GB free SkyDrive space and a 2,000 mAh battery. But there won't be any Xenon flash like 928. Lumia 925 offer wireless charging capabilities too.
"We keep innovating, we're advancing experiences on the Nokia Lumia portfolio whether that means great new benefits for an existing Lumia owner, or bringing new showcase devices like the Nokia Lumia 925." said Jo Harlow, executive vice president of Nokia Smart Devices.
Terry Myerson, corporate vice president, Microsoft Windows Phone Division, also noted that "Together with Nokia, we continue to change the way people think about smartphone cameras. The work Nokia havedone with the Lumia 925 further enhances the imaging capabilities of the Lumia smartphones."
The device measures just 8.5mm thin and it is the thinnest high-end Nokia handset ever and Nokia plans to offer the device for 469 Euros (about $610) before taxes and subsidies.
In Europe Vodafone will offer Lumia 925 from June, and in China Unicom will be selling the device. In US the device is landing on T-Mobil.
