HP Announced Six New Desktop Options With Ivy Bridge Processor

Just after the official bells for the Ivy Bridge processors, Intel's ground breaking 22nm micro architecture, manufacturers are trying to add Ivy Bridge flavor for their devices. HP, one of them, already announced a number of laptops with Ivy Bridge power, this time they are offering us six new desktop options, and you may fall in it with it if you are really looking for a desktop system. Out of six model, three of them are All-in-one PCs and rest of them are standalone desktop models.



Omni 220qd, Omni 27qd and the TouchSmart 520xt are the three models in All-in-one category. Among these, Omni 220qd is a beautifully designed all-in-one PC with streamlined cantilever design, and rocks with Beats Audio, that looks pretty good, and HP Omni 27qd is the first 27-inch all-in-one PC from HP that features HP's exclusive Magic Canvas software, and finally the HP TouchSmart 520xt, as its name implies, it offers you the touch experience, and is targeted on consumers who demands a premium multimedia with its 23” touchscreen display. The price tag for Omni 220qd is set at $999, the Omni 27qd at $1,199 and the TouchSmart 520xt at $999.


Moving to the stand alone desktop options, it includes HPE h8t, HPE h8xt and HPE Phoenix h9t in which HPE Phoenix h9t is more powerful and will be available for a price tag of $1,149, while the HPE h8xt is at $799, and finally the lower end model in the trio, HPE h8t for $699.


All the devices are available from HP starting at June 24, except the HPE Phoenix h9t which will be available from 29th of April.
